Roses dipped in gold
« on: January 21, 2022, 01:08:58 AM »
Bumped into the below site. Anyone familiar with this? Prices seem quite cheap. Wondering how elegant these are for a gift.  My filter is blurring some images

I own them for years... They are beautiful.

My wife loves them ( she doesn't care much for fresh flowers) and they add beauty to the shabbos table or an accent table in a nice vase.

Pay for themselves in a short time if you forgo the weekly $10-$15 people spend on Shabbos Flowers :-)

Considered this, but my kids would destroy these in no time, and they’re even more gimmicky than the gold ones upthread.

We don't actually use them as a replacement for fresh flowers. We did by the forever roses and keep them on our mantle. But still buy fresh flowers for shabbos

You can make your own forever roses hanging fresh roses upside down in a cold/dry place until they dry out. The look beautiful, but they get very brittle over time.

My parents have roses like this (laying horizontally with the tops of the roses showing) at the top of tall furniture and it looks beautiful.

Dried roses are very pretty but it's not really the same as forever roses

We did that too until we started getting moths or some other flying thing making nests in there

Any recommendations for a good brand? I see many different ones on Amazon.
