Maybe time to invest in a few of these? You don't even have to use them. Just hang some up in front of the house with a sign: "Cars that park here are given a car boot, free of charge" and "Quick boot removal available here, only $350"

Wheel Clamp Lock Universal Security Tire Lock Anti Theft Lock Fit Most Vehicles, Max 10" Tire Width And 7.5" Reach, For Trailers Suv Boats Atv'S Motorcycles Golf Cart Great Deterrent Bright Yellow/Red ($28.99)

This is actually a great idea

The solution to this issue is a different thread that @Dan loves to reference.

Except you can't drive to the airport when someone is blocking your driveway.

Now with all the excuses oh I'm sorry. I couldn't find any spots or it was just for a few minutes...or the latest this very morning as I'm typing this. There's snow banks everywhere, my driveway of course I didn't shovel out. As I'm using the front to block it for now vs me clearing the length of the driveway.
So whatever cockamamie excuse this guy has I just don't see how it will justify me having to spend 10 minutes finding an alternate spot and shlepping through the snow to get home and if I have a packages to bring in later will make it a real pita.

What's your guys take on this? How would you proceed?

Yes I have a big sign that says it's a private driveway please do not block. Active driveway.
Yes almost every time its a different individual, so not sure that little paper on the windshield will help. And the next time what will go through their head oh you need a spot? over there you get a paper for parking so if you really need go there.

Let alone the other stories when owning a private driveway. I remember more than once where violators were caught red handed relieving themselves.. story on its own for a different time.
Do you own the front of your driveway? I understand that legally you’re not allowed to block someone’s driveway, but does the owner of the driveway have more rights to the front of his driveway than anyone else?

ETA: it seems only usable driveways are illegal to block. I would assume an argument can be made about a fully snowed in driveway.

Not officially, but it’s a logical deduction since no one is allowed to block my driveway and I’m allowed to block my own driveway (assuming I don’t share it with anyone else), so effectively, only I can block my own driveway.

My guess is if you got a ticket for blocking your own driveway you could successfully fight the ticket by proving it’s your own driveway.

Even if you should say I didn't shovel out the  Length of my driveway.
I now want to come back from Costco and unload all my groceries, Am I not entitled to use my own driveway to unload my groceries?

This came up in chosen mishpat, and while not necessarily the recommended approach, you can halachicaly take any means necessary to move the car out of the way. If that means removing the bumper so be it. I'd call a tow truck if I were you. People don't learn until it hurts.
Am I considered a moi'sur by calling the cops if in fact it's a frum person?

You are not in any way calling the cops on a person. The person has no implication whatsoever. You are reporting his vehicle. It's not a moving violation, so it would be tagged to the car, not the person. I'm not a posek, but I would be quite surprised if you couldn't call the cops, especially when you can literally damage his car if necessary.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

I'm sure some techy guy made some sort of program that detects if a car is blocking a driveway and that triggers a mark rober-esque thingamajig

It's on the site linked to earlier. City considers it trespassing.
Trespassing is just when someone parks on your actual driveway, not when blocking it on the street.

Call 911 to report a vehicle illegally parked in the actual driveway of private property. This is considered trespassing.

Ticket, call 311, get them towed. Do what it takes.

I will never understand how people just block other people's driveway.

I had a neighbor that blocked me in to my own driveway.  When I confronted him he told me that he thought I leave later. What's wrong with people?

Obviously not talking about legit reasons like hatzalah etc.

I once had an event in BP it was pouring I finally found a spot no sign no driveway I ran in the rain a few blocks till I finally reached my destination, I came out a few hours later and a guy/Goy is standing and cursing away for blocking his driveway he tells me wait wait the tow truck is coming I zipped off with the $100 fine, he had a privacy gate in front of his driveway the only way for me to notice it would be by looking at the curb which I wasn't going to do in the wild rain

I think most people would assume a driveway that isn't shoveled is not in use.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.
