Not sure if this is more funny or sad, http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Apple-Now-Has-More-Cash-Than-siliconalley-2326997592.html?x=0&.v=3
i think it is actually pretty dumb, anyone who has no debts or owes less than the few trillion dollars that the us gov. owes has more money, and i am wondering why they picked apple, its not like they are the wealthiest company in existence

i don't think that Obama, as much as i dislike him, will allow this country to default, hopefully in the end there will be some form of the cut, cap, and balance bill in the end so that things like Obama style spending don't happen ever again (even if he wins the 2012 election)

Considering it is our national debt, every American man, woman, and while has ~$47K in debt as their share of the national debt...
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

good point, only not entirely curate, since if the gov had a surplus of$ you wouldn't see a dime, which just shows, its not actually your money

Chill out everyone. Our GDP is still 3x the size of anyone else and we have something that nobody else has. The ability to innovate.

Anyone who spends a week in Europe or China can see why America is such a great country.

So don't let this scare you. America (and the Dollar) will be back stronger than ever in no time

We're losing more of our innovation edge every day...

I don't seeing it as being so significant. From the drug dealer on the corner to the guy selling miles in Lakewood, Americans have entrepreneurship engrained in their DNA.
