Within a few guesses it was obvious it had to be somewhere in the Caribbean.  Then it was a matter of figuring out which countries they considered countries.  This may go back to the Greenland issue---would it accept Greenland as a country?  I doubt it.

can't be seen on a map by the naked eye

When you zoom in, you see so many islands that I wasn't sure which are independent countries and which are part of other countries. I eventually got it by using the list of countries in North America on Wikipedia.

Played on my phone and got 48% on my first try. Fat fingered quite a few.

Mobile is really impossible. Even on desktop you kind have to hover to see what's 'highlighted' before you click for the smaller countries.

It's almost impossible to remember which dot of the numerous Caribbean and South Pacific islands is the country they ask.

I think most such games you'll find will include Palestine, depending on the definitions. This site has another one for UN member states, which excludes Palestine, and another for UN recognized states, which includes it.
