and thats the problem with this question. whats your best trip ever - relative to what? I didn't think Angels Landing was a good hike. I started up the chains and felt it was too unsafe for me. Way too many people going up and down. This was in Oct or Nov - cannot imagine what its like in summer. I did like the narrows hike. I have done other hikes e.g. Kili, Canadian Rockies. Relative to those hikes, Angels Landing was poor. I think you have to ask what the best trip ever was and why you liked it. I, e.g. liked the Republic of Georgia. The scenery was beautiful, well priced, friendly people, good access to shuls and kosher food. Interesting culture and architecture. Ticks all my boxes.
