Selling Hertz Presidents Circle Status for $30. PM for details.
@12HRS. We have an issue. I specifically asked
@dsprod how he was gifting status to Hertz given the public offer for gifting 6 months had ended (
https://pub.emails.hertz.com/GiftStatus2021). He said it was not through the old promotion but because he has been a Hertz President's Circle member for years that they offered him the ability to match his status to someone else. I made a point to verify nothing sketchy was being done and he said there was not.
I pay him the money and the status match comes immediately from Hertz. In that email, Hertz mentions my status was matched from a competitor and attaches a photoshopped fraudulent status card from National. I sent
@dsprod a PM telling him that this is very unethical since I specifically asked him how he was matching. He tells me that he did not make a fraudulent status match. When I mention that Hertz attached the photoshopped National card, he admits to doing so and says he didn't think it mattered.
This is pretty unethical and I would have never engaged in a transaction had I known this was the way he was status matching. Moreover, after being confronted about using a fraudulent status match, he doubled down on his lie until I told him I have the actual fake card that was used to get me Hertz President's Circle.
