PC Software to transfer music from Ipod touch

Looking for FREE software that can backup music from an ipod touch.
Apparently, some of the oldies we used to use have turned into giant companies with tiered pricing, or freemium models that aren't useful.
What I need:

-Must support somewhat recent ios versions
-Transfer music from ipod touch including ability to choose an entire album/artist, not just select tracks from a list (EaseUS MobiMover)
-Free! or if its really a good program, one-time low cost.

Hey! apple is still making iPod touches!.... that's apple we are talking about. I am sure there is a good meme for this, just I am not THAT with the times...

I just had to double check that, wow..that's remarkable!

As for your question, are you looking for a backup software, or just a program to rip music off an iPod?

Better question, how to get photos off iPhone. Always get an error when transferring large amounts of photos.

Sorry but that's not exactly a "better" question, but rather a different question. What method are you using now that is giving you that issue?

Just to rip. Specifically with the ability to choose artist/albums/tracks and not a full backup program
