What really irks me is Lenovo's lack of intelligence that when I hit ALT F4 I don't want the mic toggled, and I shouldn't have to press FN + ALT + F4..

The worst is when you're used to one way and then switch to a laptop that has it the other way.

I use a wireless keyboard that has separate buttons for volume, mute... so that the F1-12 keys work like regular.

Which is why I said that all keyboards should default to the F keys and require Fn for the secondary uses

On the other hand, if they're aiming for the least techy users, those are more likely to be adjusting brightness and volume than using the F keys

Not specifically posting issue, but when I go to ddf on my T-Mobile phone service I get a message that ddf is not safe and I should go back to safety. Doesn't happen on TMobile wifi.
Any ideas?
