People come to this thread once they've done the Wordle because once they got it, the spoiler doesn't matter. But if you are a few hours ahead and you post it, you'll be spoiling it for the vast majority of people. Even though it says spoiler in the title, I think it would be fair to wait until morning at a least in the US, that way anyone coming to the thread knows what day's game is being spoiled.

Not Hebrew.  While it doesn't appear to actually be Hindi, it is from Hindi origin and means chickpeas.  I've mostly seen it spelled channa, but m-w.com says that's a less common version.

You didn't need to type in a random word.  Let's analyze this, if you please.
1.  It can't have a Q since there is no U available.
2.  You, therefore, only have 5 consonants from which to choose plus possibly another D or I.
3.  It has to have two I's since all other vowels are nixed out and there are not enough consonants to make blends.
4.  D can only be in place 1 or place 5.
5.  If D is in place 1, you  have DIGI_, DIJI_, DIZI_, DIXI_, DIVI_. (DIGIT, no T; DIXIE, no E) None of these possibilities lead to viable words with remaining consonants.
6.  That leaves D in place 5.  So we have _I_ID since there will not be two I's next to each other.
7.  You can guess at the word or go at it systematically:
     GIGID, GIJID, GIZID, GIXID, GIVID;  JIGID, JIJID, JIZID, JIXID, JIVID,...etc until VIVID.  Walla!
