Dan has written before about beating
Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant at
their own game. I feel terrible doing this, but I will, unfortunately, have to compare Danś
favorite airline, whose CEO Dan calls the
¨Most prolific airline creator of our times, to the airline(s)
Dan hates most, and even says that ¨
Friends Don’t Let Friends Fly¨ on that airline.
Letś get to the exciting stuff! On
Breeze Airwayś, choose the flight you´d like to book. I´ll use CHS > PIT as an example. The flight costs $47.

.
Scroll down to see the details, and click Taxes, Fees, and Charges.

Take a look at TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CHARGE. This is bogus. On the Breeze Airways
Optional Services page, it says that the fee only applies to bookings made online or through customer service. Therefore, you can book this flight at the Airport for only $20!!!!
WARNING
-I haven´t tried this, but I am assuming it works, based on information directly from their website.
-As Dan says by Spirit,
there is a caveat. On Breeze,
checked bags cost $29 dollars from the website or app, and $50 at the Airpot. Carry on bags cost $25 on the website/app, and $50 at the Airport. I am not sure whether you can add bags to your fare for the website price, after buying a flight at the airport. If anyone knows, please reply with that information.

@ExGingi pointed out
here, that when he tries this with Spirit, it can be inconsistent, and it seems they remove some fees, but add others. I have never tried this method with Breeze.
Has anyone tried this before? Has anyone flown Breeze? Please let us know all about it, and good luck!
