This is a great book that costs $28 from Feldheim and is still less than $11 on Amazon.

I remember buying Ten Lost/Aleph Shin for $10 - it's a great book that sold for more than $20 elsewhere (I think it's out of print now).

Yes, it seems weird, but you can sometimes find quality books for low prices.

instead of practically admitting that i've one the argument, why don't you try to disproove my reasoning.
i simply stated that a good book will never go on such a big sale. just like you wont find world series game box seat tickets for 10 bucks. or first class from jfk to tel aviv for 25 bucks. [there may be a price mistake, but it will be fixed as soon as they catch it.] its really not so complicated. please explain why this is wrong. again, its 2 dollars for a book. even a toddlers book of fishies is 5 dollars minimum so something really doesnt add up here.

Amazon has such fluctuations in their prices all the time. I bought a bunch of Artscroll Rosh Hashana Machzim for about $5.

Let me try to help you. Artrscroll doesn't generally sell on Amazon and if they do they do it as a third party. This book is being sold by Amazon. Which means that Amazon owns a bunch of them, not on consignment, and it's subject to their algorithm. If there's a shelf in Louisville they need empty they put it on sale.
Example, Rabbi kubers three volumes on the dateline flew off the shelves at $60.  that notwithstanding, Amazon was selling it at $20.74 for about two days until shortly after https://www.dansdeals.com/shopping-deals/amazon/crossing-dateline-3-volume-hard-cover-set-rabbi-mordechai-kuber-21-16-amazon-16-price-drop/ this ddms post restored the algorithm. It's been the usual retail price ever since.

it was a simple debate on whether books that are being sold for cheap are worth buying. i never said once that it wasn't a good book and in fact the guy who made the thread (undoubtedly to get free advertising for the book) said that his wife liked it.
