Can someone pls tell me how to use these.

Do I reserve a premium rental car at avis as a regular reservation then hand in the coupon when I come to pay? Anything else I need to know? Is there an underage charge for under 25?

I tried to find a link to the DG so I could figure it out myself but wasn't able to. If anyone has a link that would be great. I see a bunch of people are selling so PM me if you're selling.

-There are some taxes owed.
I have a res for 5 days in MCI and it says I'll owe $55 in tax. You don't pay % taxes, but you do pay per rental and per day flat taxes.

-There are blackout dates that vary based on the rental location, you can call Avis and make a res by telling you have x amount of reward day coupons. The coupon number for DG 2013 is TUTA037.

-Valid in US/Canada except NYC metro.

-Using a coupon invalidates credit card coverage, though there are workarounds like making a res with the coupons but only handing them in at the end assuming there is no damage.

Anyone have any experience with this with Hertz or Avis? I use Hertz certs all the time and never have to hand them in until the end of the rental, and thank G-d never had an accident or had damage, but wondering if anyone has declined to use certs and get charged the price of the rental b/c of damage so their CC insurance kicks in?

The system accepted the reservation with the coupon code. That should mean the dates are not blacked out, right?

For some reason, the price is $10/day higher with the coupon. But I guess that doesn't matter

Dunno, I do it over the phone as that way the rate shows as $0+tax.

When you do it online it just says that the counter will decide whether to accept based on their own blackout dates and it gives the full rate.

Anyone have an extra one lying around? Trade for some UA drink chits?
