So I assume that the code entered on the reservation was not the code listed on the coupon, since it had already expired... Is that correct? What code did you use instead?

I made the reservation on the phone using the code on the expired certificate. As typically happens, it was not reflected at the counter until I have them the coupon and they manually entered the data.

I have (many) certificates for an AVIS "Reward Day" Certificate under my own business from my AWD (can be used by anyone) with an expiration date of Jan 31, 2015. Good for up to Group G car (premium). Taxes and fees are additional (examples: I used 4 certs in Denver, given upgraded Ford Explorer, and was charged total of $21 for the 4 days, Used 2 certs at BWI for a volvo wagon and was charged $13). Can use up to a maximum of 7 certificates on one rental. Hawaii and New York Metro area Friday/Sat pickup are excluded. Can be used in Canada, Puerto Rico, US virgin Island, Europe (excluding Germany) Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. In Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia, New Zealand Certificates are good for up to Full size. No one way rentals(although some members on the forum have used them for one way rentals). Reservation with coupon are required. Holiday and Blackout periods may apply (I personally just used them over Memorial day).

Asking for donation of $25 per certificate for >1 certificate or $30 for a single. These are paper certificates and will be mailed ASAP(my location is Arizona). PM if interested.
