I have never used these before - what do i do with them? Make a reservation and use them instead of paying? And how many can i use at once? Thanks

you need to make a reservation, when you pick up the car you hand them the certificates (and pray that they work) and the total will go to zero (depends on location, some charge tax)
you can use up to 7 in one reservation.

sometimes the location won't except them because you're not part of the corporation that's on the certificates.
or the certificates themselves might be fake ...
