I sell pdf files through an online store. I have been storing pdfs on my webhost's server and sending the link to customers (i know this isnt particularly secure and can lead to people sharing the file, but it worked for me). Recently, google indexed one of the pdfs, essentially making it free to anyone looking. I discussed this with my webhost, and they did not have a way to prevent google from indexing the files while still making them available to send to customers as links.
I now need a new solution to get customers what they pay for.
I know that i can use dropbox, google drive, etc, to serve the same function, but i was wondering if there was a more professional looking way to send out the pdfs.
