What to do with my SONY VAIO e-series Laptop?

First of all , I admit I am not a tech pro and I don't know a lot . I bought this laptop back on 2015 ,2014, 2013 or 2016, can't remember the exact year of purchase . It looks brand new cos I kept it clean and safe in a secured case and bag for years.   Since I mostly use desktop at home , there was not much use of my laptop and I didn't use it for years until recently . It says window 8.1 and maybe 6gb ram and I don't know the graphics or storage size . I started to test the laptop and the battery drains super fast and it is very slow start . What should I do with this? Any place I can go to that will update to the latest windows 10 or 11 for free and refresh , optimize the pc and do something with the battery drainage issue ? If I sell how much is the value for this? The model and serial is in the attachment for you to learn more about this PC.

a trick with old comps (if you want to really make it better than when you got it) is to change the hard drive to an ssd and install windows 10 on it. its really not so hard and some youtube videos can help you. the whole process shouldnt cost more than 20/30 dollars and 2 hours.

you dont go nowhere. order an ssd to your house, make a windows cd or usb thumb drive and do it yourself! paying someone will cost at least 100/150 minimum

is this the flashdrive? it has slot for microsd card and SD card. insert an SD card?

you can use that but dont you have any empty normal usb thumb drives that are 8gb or larger?

now download windows 10 from the microsoft website:
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209
and follow instructions to make an installation cd

you may need to order a new battery and not overcharge it all the time
