Complete Wipe out of Laptop

How can do a (quick) complete reset on my laptop -delete all Passwords, files browsing history etc. I am giving away my Laptop and don't want them to have any of this?

On a serious note, there is an option in "Recovery" to "reset this PC," which should wipe everything out.

They may still be able to get some stuff with data recovery though, so if you are worried, you may want to do more advanced hard drive formatting.
