Lets just take a step back here. Someone said that one can spread it around based on a suspicioun or something fishy. I said that this is not the case, you argued with that based on Hil. richilus and I said it is not comparable and doesn't have to do with this case. Did that someone say anything about posting it on social media? He did not.

I think that Halachicly, there doesn't need to be a 100% certainty to be Choshesh. It may be Muttar, if one has good reason to be Choshesh, to tells others that he saw something fishy and its worth it to check out a store/establishment before buying there.

So in a thread about a story which no one individual saw "something fishy", and where the accusation was spread on social media in an attempt to make it go viral, you saw fit to go along with an argument about a hypothetical that fit none of those criteria?

It was a general case. You decided to pull in SM. I’ve clarified I’m not talking about it, my understanding is that that would be a problem. But to tell others on an individual basis may indeed be mutar.

I saw fit to correct some Halachik inaccuracies being made. I’ve long ago clarified I’m not referring to this specific case. Importantly, in this specific case as well, those that hear the accusations are allowed to be choshesh, despite the infractions by those that spread them.
