Many New Yorkers, plenty of Chasidim and Charedim and so forth, make the Catskills their home for the summer months, usually in a bungalow colony of sorts.
Does such a region exist in Israel? Are there many yidden from Yerushalayim and elsewhere who head up north or down south for the summer?
If not for one or two months, at least for a few days of get-away...what then are the busy cities and regions?
Safed? Near the Kinneret? Somewhere closer to the Mediterranean?
