After SMing about matching to 50K they said contact them after the 30K post about the extra 20K, I did that but they said they'll respond in 24-48 hours and it's already been much longer, what has been other's experience with this? should I just continue waiting?

Yes.  Took me about 3-4 days to get a positive response each time I asked for the match.  Other people on this forum have had similar experiences.

In all of my cases, they posted on my next statement.

That's a different scenario.  He wasn't entitled to the initial bonus miles so anything relating to a match is moot.
I think meshugener is looking for an example of someone getting the bonus and then getting denied the match after sending in a SM asking for it.

Someone has had this experience I applied for the 30k offer its already on chase statement but it doesn't appear on my united account I sm'ed chase they tell me to call united. When I call united they tell me to call chase

No I never had one on my name but chase opened one up for me cuz when I called united they gave me my account # tht was opened (not by myself) around the time I applied for the card so I believe chase opened it up so I can't figure out whts wrong and how to fix it cuz I'm getting the run around
