I've been seeing tons of influencers saying the blue check will become an idiot badge if they start charging.

I think, if they offered enhanced verification and actively shut down impersonator accounts, it'd be worth a lot more.

I think they should make the blue check like $5/mo for anyone, and create a gold check and charge $25-50/mo.
The gold check will also be given out free to super-influential people.

The cheaper blue check will make it more tempting for the average twitter addict to sign up, while the gold check will be tempting to all those that want to look super-important.

Powerful message. Free speech is much greyer than any of Musks successes thus far (especially if you exclude PayPal). Not sure if he’s brought anything viable to market yet with his Neuralink and AI businesses.

On Nov. 2nd  "Stop Hate For Profit" (not sure if the name is based on their goals or their business plan) put out a positive statement about their meeting with Elon.

 On Nov. 4th put out a statement telling companies to stop advertising. They did not claim that he violated the agreement made in the meeting, only that they were worried about what he might do...
