The guy who does it was quoted as saying that he is interested in how Elon travels to run his companies... If that was actually his motive, he could release the information on a delay of several days.

I know of cases where private jet info (not necessarily musks) was used to predict m&a. Legitimate, time sensitive, amd extremely valuable.
