Financing falling through would allow him to back out without risking being sued for breach of contract, but he'd still have to pay the $1b fee, no?

If he maliciously manipulated things so the deal fell through, Twitter could try to sue him for more than the $1bln.

A new potential derailer. Musk claims tesla factories are losing billions, to try and cause share price to tank temporarily. Could result in the financing falling through because the collateral dropped in values, allowimg him to back out with no penalty
Brand new factories losing money is not news.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.
