CV and the boyz were having a disagreement about whether LGBTQ+ activity is immoral or not.

The discussion was about a person calling a whole community evil.

Being that from my perspective some of their beliefs are corrupt, obviously they’ll be differences, but overall the 3 major religions historically share much of the same general “biblical moral” beliefs.

Without any godly direction however, basic morality is on jeopardy. What defines it? And equally important, what compels someone to be moral, however defined, without belief in a higher power?

There's a difference between laws in a religious text and God given morals.
No one is saying any religious text should be US law.

However, if you bring up morality you have to be able to define it.

Let me help you. "Your" G-d dictates your morals. That is the only morals you believe in.
This is basically the same for everyone that believes and follows a G-d.
So we end up with morals different for everyone.

Why does CV need to give a definition? You brought it up, gave your definition, and CV is questioning your definition, maybe CV does or doesn’t have a definition of morality.

I'm not serious, obviously. But think about the question! You need to have some definition or you are in a very awkward position where it's ok to have sex with any immediate family member, you can kill who you please, etc.
But when he says LGBTQ is cool we all gotta just go along? A man with no morals can lecture us on LGBTQ?

And it's a free country he doesn't have to. But if he's got no good definition he should just say so and we can all go to sleep
