Incoming Calls Going To My Voice Mail - Any Suggestions

As simple as that. Calls coming to my cell from certain phones will go straight to my voice mail.

No, those numbers are not on my blocked list, and my phone is NOT on airplane mode (calls from some numbers ARE coming in fine. Outgoing calls are fine as well)

Any suggestions? It's an iPhone registered to Verizon. Verizon was not able to help...

Settings -> Phone. Is “Silence Unknown Callers” enabled?

I actually have this same exact issue on my father in-laws line on my account. He calls me - straight to voicemail. But I can call him. We're both saved in each others phones.  Just upgraded his phone also, and that didn't change anything. We're on Sprint.

This happens a lot. I find that manually dialing the number will sometimes help

No no.... I went through all this with Verizon already.

Not helping. Like I said, it's not an obvious setting. It's not just one number. It's random. Some numbers come through and others go straight to voice mail.

Put your sim in a different phone and if the issue still occurs you can go back to Verizon and escalate as necessary. Might be easier said than done but I agree with you that it does sound like something on their end.

As a starter maybe try to establish a common denominator, like calls from the same/other area codes as you, or calls from the same/other/specific carrier.

Did you try a new SIM card or/and a different device?

Had that issue before with someone (IPHONE). Turn's out the phone was set on Do Not Disturb for a couple of weeks so calls went straight to voicemail if the phone wasn't unlocked.

Make sure you didn't accidentally (or on purpose) block his contact

I've been having this problem as well over the last 2 weeks, both on Google voice and on my Verizon phone. With my Verizon phone some callers in my contacts would call me and I could see the call was auto-blocked by the phone (but not actually on a blocked list).

I disabled all spam blockers (Hiya etc.) for now and  the problem seems solved.

Make sure you didn't accidentally (or on purpose) block his contact

I already said (more than one time..) the phone is not on "do not disturb" and non of the specific contacts where I have the issue are blocked.
