If one has an S corp, but didn't take out money from the business (business had income) does that income count for jersey care purposes? (Insurance for kids if that changes anything)

I finally got backpay from unemployment and have a lot of money in my bank due to not getting unemployment for months
will that cause a problem?

There are no asset limits. It goes based off income.

They are not kicking anyone off Jersey Care now anyways, DTC. So they will send you a renewal application, but even if you don't qualify you will get a letter stating that DTC, for now you stay on Jersey Care.

How do I enroll an unborn child on Jersey care?

Both parents are not eligible for Jersey Care. They both have commercial insurance.

Current children have Jersey Care.

Thank you ! Emailed last night , and got a reply today. I can post the exact text of the reply later in case it will benefit someone else. But basically they said to apply online at njfamilycare.org

I never did it myself and there may be others here who have more precise details. I think there may be a line for it on the application or renewal, but I'm not sure. If your employer offers a 401k it's easier because it comes off on the paystub.

I heard until January.

I know of someone who got a letter that they are no longer eligible, but they still didn't receive the actual termination letter.

yes this is the case.

But u still have to send in your renewal and if u dont then it will be considered u voluntarily terminated your coverage and then u will get thrown off.

As well u will get a letter if ur no longer eligebile but wont be terminated as long as there is an ongoing pandemic which for now is until januart 2022. (which seems like wont end any time soon)
