we have a joint savings account that i gave a statement copy of which has her name on it.
that may be why they asked for her info.
i wonder if i can explain that we have an account together but dont live together
Why the need to lie? Why not just say that she lives there and doesn't make any money (the truth)? Isn't she also filing for WIC from the same address?

Pity they weren't black or illegal aliens, or this would be an international incident.

What happened to their accountant? Most of the people receiving benefits are doing so legally. Sounds like they didn't have their papers in order right away when requested.

What in the world does that mean that 5k bail wasn't posted for the mother and she was taken to jail? That's ridiculous, and a kitrug on our community at large,  if that's true.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

i don't work or have a income and my wife doesn't work or have a income so we're not hiding income.
We're just not legally married which in the non Jewish world is quite common.
It's just a matter of me providing the documents to show the above.
If I keep her out of the picture then i have a few less documents to provide.
But I appreciate the comparison.

I don't see why it's worth lying to the state of NJ to avoid sending in a few documents. And if they determine that she DOES live there (even if she doesn't have income) you can probably be prosecuted for providing false information on the application.

This is where you can get yourself in trouble unless you really don't live together?

How do you go about adding more family members to your JC plan? Do you need a brand new application?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

When adding a newborn to the policy 2 proofs of birth are needed. Is the hospital bracelet that can be used the hand written one that gets placed on baby, mom and dad. Or the printed one on the baby's leg?
