Why the need to lie? Why not just say that she lives there and doesn't make any money (the truth)? Isn't she also filing for WIC from the same address?

i don't work or have a income and my wife doesn't work or have a income so we're not hiding income.We're just not legally married which in the non Jewish world is quite common.It's just a matter of me providing the documents to show the above. If I keep her out of the picture then i have a few less documents to provide.But I appreciate the comparison.
