Just as an update (if useful for anyone else), I went down to the office (OC board of Social Services) about 10 days after mailing and it was good I did. They couldnt find me in the computer and said that was weird as they should have processed the app in. Anyways after a half hour they found it somewhere in the mail room or something. I think that also speeded up the process, because three days later I got the answer in the mail....

You apply through the state when the adults are ineligible because you’re above 147% of the FPL, but the children are eligible for partial/full coverage.

Not being facetious at all, and this was definitely helpful. I just wish I would have known that a few years ago when I applied online and was denied, nowhere on jersey care's website or in the application process did it mention that I should apply through the county and would have been approved.

Ok then, yes I agree with you, no clue why they don’t disseminate basic information themselves.

LRRC www.lrrcenter.org on the other hand does publish extremely helpful pamphlets every year with updated rules and guidelines

I'm recently unemployed and I need to recertify, I have no income at the moment. Can I write on the application that I don't have any income or do they require some income?

You can write no income, but you need to tell them how you're living on no income (can be savings or help from family etc.)

we daven Rosh hashono  for פרנסה טובה  and we don't daven for a lot of money, A good jobs include a good pay, good environment and good boss....

Even with the state? My kids got thrown off the state a few years ago for having other coverage. Language was "individual was covered under a group health plan".
IIRC at least in the past with the county you were able to have other coverage.

Now I remember. Plan a (county) allows JC as a secondary. Not the other plans
