Brooklyn Hatzalah

Hello All.

I have been interested in becoming a volunteer paramedic for Hatzalah for a while. Does anyone know where to begin here?
I have done the research and can not find where to apply online or in person. I know it is a long shot requesting information online but I figured it can not hurt to ask.

There is one other idea, if you live in, or move to, one of the more far-flung areas of Flatbush Hatzalah, you might not need all of the above.

In plain terms, it's very hard to get onto Hatzolah. There is a long line of people who want to get on, and they are not eager to grow their ranks.

This isn't to downplay the amazing people of hatzalah and most of the restrictions have very good intentions.

Maybe it pays to move out to Monticello for a period of time, join the midyear Catskill division and then push your way towards downstate hatzalah

But yes, try far out flatbush (morning hours), for other areas night shift

Are you already a Paramedic?

You can try joining Canarsie (Mill Basin), Queens, or Lower East Side. I heard they are all in need of members.

I can send you the application for Flatbush if you want but it is very hard to get in there.
