BP, F and W can all be lumped together for the egos. RL is cliquey and YMMV. The smaller neighborhoods by and large do their own thing and take people that can help them with no issues (which means 18 months of chasing and begging as opposed to 10 year waitlists). Add Central for the grift.

Let's assume they were a private organization, who had the prerogative to hire and admit whoever they wanted (a right which private entities do not legally have in this woke country, but that's neither here nor there). Who are they hurting? Who are the victims of the alleged corruption, aside from wannabe members and rival organizations that have been stymied?

Trash reporting. There is literally no source for the fact that they employ woman to be an impetus for the lawsuit, only that the defendant "claims" that it's one of the reasons. But they took it and made it the focal point of the article.

BTW, it's very possible that the catalyst for the lawsuit was because they hired women. But the lawsuit is not suing them because they hired women. The lawsuit is because they are destroying the brand by USING THE NAME HATZOLAH while employing women.

Very different notions.

Imagine a headline "Goldstein's Pareve Cookies suing Florida company because they use dairy," with a story making it sound like they hate dairy so much that they decided to sue another company for using dairy. But the real story would be that a Florida company was using dairy WHILE calling themselves "Goldstein's Pareve Cookies", something that severely messes with their credibility and brand.

I agree that Hatzala should protect their trademark, however the FL org has already changed their name to JVAC, and according to the article "Hersh said he and his legal team have taken extensive steps to make sure JVAC — which is already in operation and has local community support — is in full compliance of the court’s orders."

At this point what is the lawsuit for? Either they're trying to bully them or the article is missing something.
