Maybe they should consider learning English to "improve their productivity and efficiency", instead of jacking up the price.

Learning English in this context is a particularly expensive proposition. Consider settling for the cost increase in the notice

Of course, they don't decrease their margins because prices went up.

They don't have to decrease but they also don't have to increase...

Non kosher cheese is up over 22% since Jan. It makes sense that a specialty item like kosher dairy would increase by much more.

Why? Besides for mashgichim and koshering costs (which makes CY always more expensive), why should it be jumping up so high vs. other milk?
In other words, what I am saying is, if the price of milk overall isn't rising so much due to inflation, why should specifically CY milk be rising so much.

shipping cost. probably have more labor compared to huge factories. animal feed ( don’t have as much buying power is the big guys) etc…

What I can’t understand is the structure of the price increase. It makes no sense. It looks more like someone aiming a dart at a dart board…

My guess is there are some other factors, maybe they decided to reduce the discount on the larger sizes.

I saw a sign with "homemade cream cheese" instructions in the dairy aisle of a non-kosher grocery store.

Volume. Costs don't rise to scale.

I'm confused - Why were all the stores charging more for milk for the past few weeks if they just raised it yesterday?
