Besides for the fact that 90% of the time avocados from non Jewish stores have a better texture then the ones from Jewish stores. It’s the same Hass avocado that I buy.

We usually go to Trader Joe's for produce. Or costco for produce that has a longer shelf life, like apples.

I'd presume you're comparing to "OOT" pricing...
Because though they did have a few insane deals, overall I didn't find their prices so amazing this year.
Or IOW it was a IME a disappointement compared to their past years' Pesach deals.

Or perhaps you're referring to their year-round prices in general.
How much were KFP flatbreads or Schmerling bars in regular NYC grocery stores?

No clue about the former (not a staple or something I ever paid attention to), but the latter was pretty similar to other stores' sale prices.

Fun fact: schmerling is actually pretty expensive in Switzerland. Apparently the government subsidizes exports.

In Brooklyn, the price difference between BreadBerry, Pomogranite etc. Vs. Budget stores like Bingo, Rosners, KRM is just bind boggling. It can be a difference of 30-40% for the exact same items!
The OP comparison is rational, but yours is apples to oranges. BB & Pom are in a whole different league than anyone else.
You can compare KRM to Bingo, or GG etc etc, but you can't compare them to the feinschmecker stores.

Is Miami Kosher Supermarket still very competitive?

Bingo is crazy cheap on Schmerlings chocolate all year round. IIRC almost $2 cheaper.

Just a tip all the stores use the same online system, so if you find a product you can just switch the website in the url bar, like this:

https://www.moishasonline.com/search/Devash%20Milk%20%C2%BDGal%201%25%20(Blue)?catalogProduct=225421
https://www.gonpgs.com/search/Devash%20Milk%20%C2%BDGal%201%25%20(Blue)?catalogProduct=225421
https://www.gourmetglattonline.com/search/Devash%20Milk%20%C2%BDGal%201%25%20(Blue)?catalogProduct=225421
https://www.thepompeopleonline.com/search/Devash%20Milk%20%C2%BDGal%201%25%20(Blue)?catalogProduct=225421
Amazing, thank you.

It’s like a restaurant where you’re buying the entire experience not just the food.

Go to a premium place, you oftentimes get wider aisles, a cleaner and nicer shop, better selection, more competent/available staff, and less crowds.
Wider aisles: Ironically, who has wider than Bingo?!
Cleaner: I'm not aware of any exceptionally dirty supermarkets.
Selection: I'm not so sure the higher-end supermarkets have any larger selection than the standard ones.
Staff: Maybe more helpful management? But I see the same Mexicans in the aisles packing shelves.
Crowds: That really varies by the store, day, time of day etc, and of course aisle width/capacity.

But we're left with "nicer". Oddly some people care for that.

Plus..
In a high end restaurant, the food is supposedly better. In a high end grocery, you're buying the exact same product (deli counter etc excluded)

And bananas .49 lb vs .89. Mangoes .99-$1.50 vs 2.50. For those that are maikel on pas palter when there is a significant price discrepancy (AFAIR Rav Elyashiv) hot dog and hamburger buns .99 Shoprite brand Kof K vs 4.69 to 5.29 seasons.White bread $1.19 Shoprite brand vs  $4 for heimish bread in seasons. To be fair in the non Jewish supermarket world bananas are often loss leaders and avocados are low margin as well.

General Mills cereals on sale 1.99 large size  Shoprite this week. $4.99-5.99 seasons.

The cheaper stores got much nicer over the years as the higher end stores opened. Competition raises the tide, which brings up all ships.

Yes, nicer does include nicer displays, better inventory management by staffing, more competent and helpful assistance, more palatable and comprehensive fresh and prepared foods, platters, produce, bakery, takeout, dips, fish, and meat sections, often shorter checkout lines, and overall a more pleasant experience. There's no denying that you pay a premium for that, though. The analogy to a high end restaurant is a decent one. As a non foodie, I find those absurd too, but that's because I don't properly value the added components they offer which a fast food or mid range restaurant does not.

Same reason many Israeli products are more expensive in Israel?

Pro tip - not every Aldi's has the same prices. My wife goes out to the valley stream one when she can because it's cheaper on many items than the forest hills one.

Was in NYC before Pesach and checked it out.

My in-laws from OOT have us ship or pay for a suitcase. I am horrified anew each time I go into their usual supermarket.

Now do Aldis.
I’ll ask him to do Aldis. To be fair aldis is not a store that you can shop normally in. They have minimal amount of things. So it’s not really fair to compare.
