If you ever saw a pepper from Breadberry you would know it’s not fair. I’m more interested to see the price differences of exact same packages items, such as spices, crackers, disposable plates etc.

The person who prepared this chart had prepared similar ones in the past for non-produce packaged items. See the LinkedIn comments and their previous LinkedIn posts.

Try this  trick.
Just a tip all the stores use the same online system, so if you find a product you can just switch the website in the url bar, like this:

Meal Mart beef pastrami 20 oz large pack at Costco - $12.99
Meal Mart beef pastrami 6 oz tiny pack at Landau's south Fallsburg - $9.99.

No large packs avail at most kosher groceries. Anyone with a clear explanation for this business strategy?

What is there to explain that you didn't make clear? Costco needs cheaper prices but supplier doesn't want it to compete head on with the grocery stores. So they created a special value pack size and only sell it to Costco.

Kosher supermarkets>Walmart>Costco

Only if you finish the entire Costco size. We usually don't buy perishables there unless we share it with someone

We already discussed that your Costco is cheaper than most others. In most of the NY/NJ area, empire chicken legs @costco $2.59 /lb case. Boneless, skinless, $5.49/lb case, But your point still stands.

The post i quoted was talking about produce. I should have said produce instead of perishables. You can freeze extra chicken.

Is Rosners a grocery store or wholesaler?

+1, and why doesn’t it have a % increase (not even sure what the % is comparing to)?

It's a grocery with 3 locations, they only accept cash.

Credit cards cost no more than 3%.. not enough to justify..
I like this chart.. maybe we can use this tool to bring down prices..

Can someone please post pics of the other ones? I only saw one on dairy items.

I recall one newspaper (maybe it was FJJ?) some years ago that used to post a supermarket price comparison, every week another product.
Of course they stopped at some point. If I had to guess, probably due to pressure from proprietors (who probably pressured rabbonim to pressure them with some sort of halachic excuse why it's unjustified).

Try this  trick.
Maybe someone should make a website that pulls data from all the stores and shows the prices.
