Not to take away from your point, but in the video the bringing Tallis bag to the grave was unrelated to “Abby”. It was a given that it will be buried with him. (At least that’s the way it sounded to me…)

Source? It's a nice shtikel torah, but I think most Jewish women have the 1 piercing on each ear, and many major poskim explain why that's mutar. Any halachic issues with further piercings are related to issurim of chavala, chukos hagoyim, maybe even kedoshim tiyu depending on the location - not because of some explicit issue of being like a slave

That's a source for עבד נרצע, not that woman shouldn't get 'rebellious' piercings because it makes them slaves, or whatever you were trying to say. Do you have an actual source for the idea you suggested?

ive heard the vort before. Rabbi Dovid Kaplan brings it down in one of his impact books.
