Any suggestions for a log me in option/anydesk
I would need something that can be on a constant basis, meaning don't need every time a new code, should just be able to login
need it for my bookkeeper to login to my desktop to work on my QuickBooks

Username checks out. Agreed, RDP without VPN is an invitation for getting hacked.

Another alternative is https://parsec.app which is free for personal use.

Otherwise, I would recommend setting up an OpenVPN server or Fortigate Firewalls -- home users then connect via VPN client, and then can either VNC or Remote Desktop. (I recommend Fortigate, because it doesn't require licensing for VPN, plus one can get used ones on Ebay for $50-$200.

If you’re using VPN to get to your desktop, you’ll still likely want to use duo so that when you’re logging in via RDP it’ll enforce 2fa. Very important in today’s climate. Lmk if you need help with that.

Also, implement GEO IP rules to only the countries you need. Change VPN to run on high random port, instead of default port. This helps especially against DDoS attacks.
