On iPhone it's really easy just check the recently deleted folder and click recover

I would change the wording. This is your own conjecture, and you don't want Lufthansa to be able to sue you. I would instead write something along the lines of "In what may have been a creative solution, the Lufthansa CEO called a Rabbi..."

How much time do we have? I'm a slow writer...
So far, I'm confused in the first couple paragraphs - why was the first flight May 3 and second May 4? Was there an overnight wait between flights?

The lack of coverage seems to me "surprising", more than "shocking", and certainly not equal in shockitude to the story.

Very common for eastbound transatlantic flights.

(otherwise it sounds like you're agreeing with them that the video is problematic)

Yeah, I figured, but it stopped the flow of my reading, trying to figure it out. When first hearing the story, I had assumed that there was a brief wait between flights, but seeing the May 3-4 dates, I started to think maybe there was a 5-10 hour wait between flights. Were the passengers without food? Had they slept over in the airport? Did LH know that they weren't going to be allowed on, but didn't tell them for hours? Or was it more like "An hour after landing in Frankfurt, the connecting flight to Budapest was announced, but 127 Jewish passengers were denied..."

I saw this more as an apology through a Rabbi in Berlin.

(And my speculation is that the reason the rest of the conversation wasn't made public was because it was mostly in one direction, Rabbi T providing advice and information, rather than the CEO admitting to anything. But I'm also "creative", have no evidence for this...)
