Under which rock are you living?
Star alliance flights have plenty economy award availability to Europe close to departure.

I stand corrected. I was referring to the US airlines

I would definitely boycott them & tag them every time explaining why. This story should never be allowed to go away.

If they can really stand up to the plate, acknowledge what went wrong, apologize, and put policies in place to prevent it from happening again (not just lip service, though I’m not sure how you measure that), I could see myself flying them someday.

I’m not very optimistic. This stinks top to bottom. FA’s, captain, agents, higher-ups.

Me neither, but it’s my preferred outcome. A boycott helps no one.

And police. Their ridiculous show of force is in some ways worse.

Agreed. Airlines and their ad-how policy-making power is out of control, and the fact that the police will blindly enforce it even when it’s clearly not okay is why those powers have to be checked.

Now that LH/OS/LX/KL/AF are on the blacklist which airlines can we still use to fly to Europe?
Jews ≠ Zionists
Palestinians ≠ Hamas
Satmar ≠ SatmarHQ

I'll be flying them in a few weeks. Debating if I should wear a baseball cap.

I think it would be extremely difficult to just blacklist them. But I will definitely try
(Although I flew a week before with them & they didn’t care much about masks)

Especially as a chusid. With star alliance miles. Blacklisting them would leave limited options for Hungary Poland etc.

(I always think when I go that I’m walking on Jewish blood. Poland’s history with Jews is not that good)

(BTW Jews were also evicted from England at some point)

What would results of a Twitter poll say, if Dan asked this there?

What if the question was framed in what would it entail to get someone to fly LH again?

Do you think the responses would affect LH’s actions?

You won't know until you try..

If people say they will/won’t fly anyway, or say it’s about compensation, then LH has no incentive to work towards what I called real Teshuva in the other thread

they are now offering 21k compensation / settlement for those who sued

That should more than cover hard costs even after lawyers take 40%. How many of those who sued (and/or their lawyers) care about intangibles?
