I've been using Ilovepdf.com until now, but are there any free offline (windows download) programs to convert large amounts of pdf files into other formats?

Are all the PDFs a single page? If not, I wonder how these utilities convert multi-page PDFs.

Often by appending a page counter to the filename. While multi-page tiff exists, not all viewers support multi-page tiffs.

Multi-page tiffs are weird. It’s just something for the OP to consider, in the event they haven’t already.

I'm not at all familiar with the term tiffs. Most files are one-page, occasionally more. Purpose of utility would be to load pdf docs into a Google doc project. Only way I know how to do that is to convert them into jpg...

I don't know if it helps you, but I recently discovered a Google Sheets extension called DropSpread which let's me upload PDFs to be placed into a cell in a spreadsheet (uploads to Drive and places hyperlink to the file in the sheet).

No, putting pdf's of pages of seforim off otzar hachochma into notes/booklets of a sugya. Don't feel like I'm being very clear but...

You need full pages? If I were you I would faster use screenshots of the sections I need. My goto utility for that is Greenshot.

Windows built in snipping tool will work just fine. It's got much better

Iirc there is a free program where you can batch convert files in folder

Tiff isn’t a term, it’s a file-type that supports multiple images/pages in a single file.

Doesn’t Google Docs support uploading PDFs natively?

2. Save as
3. Upload to imgur (and copy link to clipboard)

I'll add that as soon as it's screenshotted it automatically gets placed in keyboard. In regards to #3 I just use PostImage You can paste the picture directly into the popup, that together with windows key + S makes for a real quick experience (for here on the forum)
