you realize that for marathons and other such events, they spend the entire year prepping and for this, after such a tragedy, they spent the better part of a year bickering and playing the blame game and then a few days pretending to care and install "order" and "safety measured". That's deliberate negligence. They're either completely, utterly, and dangerously incompetent or blatant disregard for the community they claim to care about
This is the the police answer to inner city violence. Since there are thugs in the neighborhood, let's harass and sometimes beat random civilians hanging out in the neighborhood.
Say you can't police it, maybe, work slow down, maybe, but harassing and beating random civilians just makes a dangerous situation even more dangerous.
