United club infinite card

I have the Presidental Plus card. Would you suggest switching to the Infinite card?

I applied for this card can got approved but I already have united tickets booked. How can I get the benefits, such as free bags, on existing tickets? Would paying for a premium seat with the card work?

assuming they didn't, it's been more than 24 hours though so can i still cancel and rebook?

You can get a credit and rebook, with a small amount on the card.
