I agree that Hatzala should protect their trademark, however the FL org has already changed their name to JVAC, and according to the article "Hersh said he and his legal team have taken extensive steps to make sure JVAC — which is already in operation and has local community support — is in full compliance of the court’s orders."

At this point what is the lawsuit for? Either they're trying to bully them or the article is missing something.

I don't know anything about the case aside from what I've read in the linked article. And the linked article obviously cannot be trusted.

Are you certain that they have local community support? I doubt Central Hatzalah would sue them if that’s the case.

I heard when you start out in the C (Catskills) that's under H base where they need more members, you can try getting into different locations.

Trying to draw a parallel with Ezra's Mashim makes an awful defense.

Judging from their ridiculously aggressive attacks on EN, and the lengths they went to stop them, this fellow's reasoning makes total sense.
Of course in addition to the argument that there are supposedly many Hatzalah's around the world (using that name) which have no affiliation with HQ.

This is awfully similar to unofficial Chabad Houses, and the lawsuits which they faced for using the name Chabad or Lubavitch by Corporate Chabad et al.
In either case, leaves a bad taste for people to donate to them (referring specifically to the Corp HQ), when they see how their resources are being used.

Exactly my point, you saw a certain parallel despite it not existing because of a faulty premise (agenda was the wrong word). To the extent that certain individuals are wasting money on legal action against mushrooms, I'd tend to agree with you, but they are relatively few and far between and hardly indicative of a broader culture or world view.

I'm not anonymous, I'm far from a shill for "Corp Hq", but a little perspective is in order.
