You're correct. The problem is, that the violence is only coming from one side. Some of their leaders encourage it. It will stop when they realize that the rest of the frum world is completely disgusted by their outrageous behavior.

Those who are on the side of violence will then accuse you of meddling in their business, being like Korach and Amalek.
