AMEX platinum CDW excludes Israel again?

Hi,
I just asked AMEX to send me the proof of coverage for CDW insurance for an upcoming rental in Israel using AMEX platinum premium coverage. It looks like Israel is excluded once again. Anyone have different experience? I don't have a Chase Reserve/Preferred right now to use instead.
