I have the old ones. At first they were OK, after a month the inside band around waist was noticeable meaning the band felt snug around the waist but outside fabric was loose so it looked crinkled. It was also super heavy and no crease was ever noticeable down the length of the pants. The new pair seems like they fixed all those problems.

Haven’t had mine that long, only a month. Did it actually last you a year because I haven’t had pants last in good condition for more than a few months.
