Where are they sold in Brooklyn?
Many clothing stores in Brooklyn but you can buy them in Veni Veci On ave J in Brooklyn.
Or in BP, or I'm sure in CH.
He wants $46 plus 6 for a hem.
not cotton or wool. does that matter?
Nope. Shouldn't matter. I've had them now for over 3-4 years, and I'm thinking to my self how I survived in a regular pair of pants over the years.
I didn't get around to finding a decent stretchable suit. In essence I dread wearing suit pants which I feel kind of restricted in.
I would invest in the company if it would go public or start off with kick starter. In essence I'm sharing my experience with these pants and so far from every person I've yet to recommend them to. They all loved it.
Now to be honest yes you'll get some complaints like wow they're kind of heavy, yes a tad heavy. But once you're wearing them you wont know the difference. If i had to give you an analogy, i would compare it to a watch, when you start wearing it for the first time, most people complain how heavy it is, and withen a few days you don't even realize its on you anymore. To help with that, just make sure you wear a belt, or get a size that fits you.
Also when washing the pants, wash them inside out and I prefer to hang dry them, as they're kind of stretchy, which means if you put them in the dryer you'll end up shrinking the pants a bit.
Also another small detail I meantion is when washing the pants and putting them on after the wash, you may feel that it shrunk a bit. But in fact it's just from being in contact with water and all so the fibers in the pants tightened up. Put them on for 20 min and they'll stretch back out to what they were.
You'll see this for yourself when you buy one and play it through.
These?
https://thehisplace.com/collections/mens-gdp-pre-hemmed-pants
The ones i bought over the years weren't pre hemmed. So not sure which these are. Also they been coming out with new pairs every few months, so can't really keep up with the new style or fit. Though I will say I think it's the flex fit which I tried when they came out with it, I did not like it. It felt very thin and wasn't what I was looking for.
For that price I would go to hatbox, ai stone or any other store.
I specifically liked the his place for the quality and material. Was really stretchy and great selection of designs to choose from. And the best of all there was practically no way to know they're stretchy pants. They looked awsome.
I saw some asked about Lululemon pants.
To be honest those are more work pants or casual jeans style, yes has a tad of a dressy look, but more to a different look and way over priced.
That’s not a direct link to a specific style. Which one is being recommended? Are they machine wash and how do they hold up after washing?
I'll try to check which ones I have when I can access the back if my pants or an extra pair lying around. Lol.
I have a few different styles and each year or so they update the inside color of the pants. The lining, like the lining of the inside of the suit. Actually pretty cool linings. Will post pictures later.
Yes they are machine wash and hold up great, though read up in my post to see what I wrote about washing and drying them.
They are different fits, unless you think he means the pleated ones.
Nope, I dont mean the pleated ones.
Sorry I've been away for the past week. So only seeing this now.
Flex pants in cuff and co
Not sure what you're referring to.
If he's referring to his place flex pants, there washable and hold up really well! From the best dress pants I've ever tried.
Unless they changed what was called the flex style, I'm not referring to those. But yes they're also great, though I love the other one's alot more.
Shipping is free which is great but return shipping is a hefty $14.99
Order and the next time you're in lakewood return them or have someone bring them back for you. Or pay to ship them back on your own. Or buy them where you live if you can find them there.
Better than Haggar?
LOL, Apples and oranges.
Or better, Economy VS First Class.
No shaichos to each other.
That's what I got 10 years ago when I needed pants and didn't know where to go. So off to kohl's I went and bought some of those pants.
PayPal?
I think they also sell them in via venetto in bp
Do they offer to pay with paypal?
are the flex pants by T.O. the ones that are being recommended? (Going by price, his place has those for 49)
I don't think so, but I'll double check on that.
Also to be honest, I would tell you to order one of each style and see which you like the best. Each color and style fit differently so order a bunch of pairs and return what you don't like.
Any other questions feel free to ask...
Not sure why it took so many years to come up with such a pair of pants.
I've used them to fly in, and boy were they amazing. Allowed me move around in the few inches that I did have.
