I recently upgraded my home computer and am wondering whether if I install a keycard version of MS Office 2010 it will still run. We had installed it many times over the years on our home computer and laptops , but not since Windows 11 and not in the last few years.

You mean one that uses a serial number for activation?

ETA: Support has ended for Office 2010 so it won’t be officially supported on Windows 11, but it’s worth trying to install. I did Google and someone claimed Office 2010 runs on Windows 11.

Yes. And yes, we have that warning running on our laptop on which it was installed a number of years ago.
