Bigger battery, dedicated camera button, kickstand, and microSD card slot all without making it any thicker and only adding a tenth of an ounce!
....and a non-removable battery :(

Unfortunately yes, but it is 200mah bigger then the rest of the One X series as well as using the S4 instead of the Tegra3 so that should also have some battery improvement. All in all without LTE on I would be surprised if it won't last a work day at minimum... and if need be I'll just have to buy a micro USB pocket charger.

Now we just need Sprint LTE to be rolled out...

Only Sprint would tout their 4G when they only have it in like 5 or 6 cities.

Don't forget AT&T who claimed to have 4G when all it was is 3G HSPA+...

Eh, I guess they all lie. 4G is can of worms. Mossberg had a column about it a few days ago, I'll see if I can find it.

EDIT: Here you go.

My wife is debating between the Sprint Galaxy Nexus and the HTC Evo 4G LTE. Anyone here have an opinion?

What does she use her phone for generally?

4G LTE should be a no brainer no matter what she uses the phone for.
Don't forget that the htc has Sense (TM) besides for the other advantages over the Nexus.

I just don't get why they couldn't leave it pretty like the AT&T and T-mobile versions.

Because they wanted to continue the Evo brand. Although I couldn't care less how it looks being as its better then the rest of the One X's :)

But apparently the reviewers have said that it actually looks good in person.

How come it's better? Better specs? I haven't looked into it that much.
I did play around with At&t's version. The screen is soo nice.

Bigger battery. Micro SD slot. Dedicated camera button (to go with the awesome camera!). Kick stand. And unlimited data ;)

I didn't realize about the battery. And a micro SD slot is a must!!

How does the camera compare to the galaxy s2?

This might be the first EVO I would actually consider buying.

I saw that. Such a small thing to add but something I would love to have.

You're an android guy and a techie, yeah? Maybe you can help me out. A few months ago for the first time in my life my email got hacked/ a virus and email were sent out from my address. I changed my passwords etc but since then I don't download anything that has permissions to Contacts/phone calls etc.
Am I being paranoid? I use a third party twitter app for this very reason. But I like having flickr on my phone and there's no other option good enough like the actual flickr app. The problem is they have tons of permissions.

What do you you think?

@sky121: If you want pretty you can wait for the Samsung Galaxy S 3 which is also supposed to be available sometime this summer. Just be aware that the US version will not include quad-core, rather dual.
Honestly, other than the fact that I'm overdue for an upgrade, I'm quite torn between the two (just read up about it today, was unveiled late last week).
BAHayman! HELP!!

Edit: To get things moving, I'm going to preorder the Evo. By the time it arrives I'm sure there will be more info about the Galaxy such as the US specs and if it's coming to Sprint altogether.
There's always 14-day remorse...

I don't really see too many advantages of the S3 over the GNex and from a quick look of the S3 touchwiz overlay I'd rather have the plain vanilla ICS that comes with the GNex over the S3.
