Well my father is " HEAVILY INVOLVED" in kashrus and so am I. And I could tell you that hashgachos that 99% of the world trust relly on the triangle k for "some things".
Note the SOMETHINGS....
Your point? No one said you should eat Hebrew National. But most people drink Minute-Maid or eat Sun-Maid raisins as well as Mott's apple sauce without looking twice at the hashgacha (triangle-k).
Most peopleI know. If it has grape juice in the ingredients would not drink it. Ocean spray 100% cranberry juice has grape juice therefore it's not accepted. However the ocean spray cranberry juice cocktailDoes not have grape juice. Therefore it is accepted

To lighten things up here a bit: has anyone else heard (or better yet can anyone confirm...jewda) that triangle k was bought out by the OU some time ago and they are planning on slowly changing it over to OU hashgacha (ala half moon k)?
Hmm, good to know thank you. I heard it from someone involved in kashrus, oh well. When you say "not true", do you mean you have heard these rumors and know them not to be true?
