Triangle- K Hechsher

What's the general said reason why this hechsher isn't accepted often?  I know getting into hechsher discussions is sometimes pointless but I am just curious as to  what is said to be the 'problem' with it.

+1. the joke (or maybe not a joke) is that they send the rabbi a check in the mail to get his approval but no mashgiach on site :)

Depends on the item that's under discussion ,for example sun maid raisins should be fine (they have a P , but didn't check out their reliability for passover )

i just dont like having a million threads to have to go through its kinda annoying. if ppl would just stick to one thread then it would make life a little easier (maybe not to new ppl coming onto the threads though :) ) for people that are following up on that topic.

but i realize now that its happening way to often (mainly n00bies) and its unstoppable, so ill let the mods do their jobs, (even though i still may help them a lil ;) )

WRONG!!!!! He's an orthodox rabbi that most ppl accept. My father knows him personally and deals with him all the time. My father told me he wasnt always so on top of things until a few years ago. For example he wouldn't send a mashgiach as often as most hashgachos do etc. In the recent years he started being more machmir on most of his products. Even those that dont want to trust him will agree that the raisins and minute maid juice is not a problem. If you dont know please dont post. And of course E/o should ask his LOR.

I've heard that Reb Moshe Feinstein held highly of the Ralbags. I'm just confused why they would chose to be the only Orthodox supervision of non-glatt meat available on the market. (Hebrew National)
