Hotwire.com Hot rate Hack

Not sure if this is well known, but on hotwire.com you can book a unspecified hotel (they tell you the star and ratings) for much cheaper than the normal listed price. They use expedia so you can then match the ratings which are measured in 4 categories on the 3 hotels that you might be getting (it gives you 3 hotels and says its one of those) and ..... you will know which hotel you are about to book and get a fantastic price!

many times i've figured out priceline hotels too by reading the descript and matching w their own site, obviously this works much better in areas w fewer hotels, i wouldnt bother w a big city- too much detective work, but your method seems simpler since they give u the 3 choices already

I never had a hard time, just using reverse image lookup or expedia ratings, but this is nice.

In a big city its usually devided by area even on priceline so it isnt too much detective work, but with hotwire you have 3 options so your almost guaranteed to get it right. Plus their ratings are coming from expedia so you can check all 3 hotels at once on expedia.com

A good indicator, but absolutely no Guarantees, they can put you in a different hotel as well, so if you need a specific hotel, don’t relay on this.

They give you three hotels and says that it will be one of them. If you compare the ratings then it has to be the right hotel or else you can request a refund being that the ratings are false.
